oh no.. i realise that i've been blogging too much.. that means that i'm not studying!! hahahah! jialat jialat.. ok i will start soon.. hahahah =D
anyway, just wanted to blog about today.. the twins came to pick me up to go kimchi grandma to eat.. =D 'cos they are leaving melb this saturday.. yup.. so it's like our last dinner together.. hahahah!
kimchi grandma was like so crowded lah! even on a weekday.. i bet the owner is like earning big bucks. hahahah! =D we couldn't finish the rice so i ta-bao-ed the rest back.. hahahhaa! food was alright i thought.. serene, remember kimchi grandma too? =D the other time we ordered so much.. and remember e secretly paid the bill for us? hahahaha!

without planning.. mandy and i wore furry and puffy jackets on the first day of school.. hahahah!
and.. guess what happened on the first day of school? there was a blackout!! hahahaha.. blackout that involved the whole of monash..
we were having lunch in the campus centre.. then all of a sudden.. the lights went out.. hahaha! then the shops started closing too.. then we were all secretly hoping that the electricity won't be back on so that we don't have to go for our really boring histology lab.. hahaha
and in the end really leh! it was cancelled! hahaha! but then we still had 1 hour lecture in the dark.. hahahah!
heard rumours that a car crashed into the transformer.. yeah.. and my residence was also affected.. so i could only watch half of Material Girls on 49% of my laptop battery.. then it went flat.. hahaha
but thank God the electricity for my residence came back on after a few hours.. so we didn't have to starve.. hahaha! 'cos our stove is electrical.. =D
and.. we didn't have school for the whole of today!! =D all classes cancelled.. shiok lah.. hahahah! =D

my one-week easter holiday is over!! =( =( boohoo.. i don't wanna go back to school.. =( =( if only the holiday could be longer.. but i know that if it is.. then i'll complain also.. 'cos i'll be so bored.. hahahah
anyway, after the great ocean road.. i rested for one day, tried to do some studying.. then thursday till saturday i stayed over at the twin's place.. =D
they picked me up on thursday afternoon and we went shopping at chadstone with their indo friend, preeta. and look what i saw at the dressing room in one of the shops!
funny right? coin clots, whale tails, and muffin tops.. hahahah!
then we went for dinner at this small indo place in clayton.. and it's yummy!!! =D =D
then we went back to the city and met some of their other indo friends at max brenners.. it's the first time that i tried maxbrenners.. hee.. had american milk chocolate with mashmallow.. and this really really yummy soflee.. i don't know how to spell it.. hahahah! but it was really GOOD. hahaha! the chocolate.. oh man.. hahhaha =D
then after that went back to the twins' apartment.. it's quite nice! =D a service apartment.. =D then i got to sleep on the sofa bed.. hahaah!

then the next day we woke at late and went to lygon street to have thai food! =D with another of their indo friend.. and coincidentally alot of their church friends were there too! and their pastor and his family! finally got to meet him after hearing so much about him from the twins.. =D
and the thai food was very yummy too!! whoa.. the tom yum soup.. it was HOT. hahahha! but very very shiok. =D cheryl took a spoonful and couldn't take another.. hahaha! chrystal didn't even try.. hahahah =D
oh!! and even though my stomach was exploding 'cos i was so full.. i had to have il dolce freddo icecream.. hahaha! 'cos they only have it in lygon street.. and it's quite far from where i stay.. hahaha! and.. i tried the DURIAN flavour!! oh yum yum to the max!! hahahah! =D and as always.. the ferraro roche one was delicious.. =D
then after that we went to bridge road to shop.. but i didn't get anything.. too expensive lah.. hee.. =D
then after that.. i went for their cellgroup at night! =D their cellgroup people are very nice!! =D i quite enjoyed cellgroup.. =D kinda missed caregroup.. =D oh ya, we played icebreakers too.. hahahah! very funny.. and her friend's apartment was very very nice too.. =D all these rich kids.. hahahah!
then after that we went for dinner at chinatown.. =D so late lor.. dinner.. hahaha! 10pm plus..
then went back home.. and we only had 4 hours to sleep 'cos we had to wake up at 5am in the morning for horseriding with their indo friends!! hee hee =D
i was so so excited.. hahaha! my first time riding a horse.. so we set off really early the next morning.. drove around a 1 hour plus drive to mornington.. and we reached the place!! =D quite cool.. 'cos on tuesday i was travelling along the coast in one direction.. and on saturday i was travelling along the coast in the other direction.. i predict i'll cover the whole of australia soon. hahahaha!

oh boy.. she was SO SLOW. hahahaha! quite sad 'cos i really didn't want her.. 'cos the instructor was saying, "who wants to go really slow?".. then we all kept quiet 'cos we didn't want.. but then the instructor just pointed to me and said that i was to take her.. hahaha
but i did love love her ok.. but she was still too slow.. hahaha! she's still a baby.. only 3 years old.. maybe that's why.. lazy baby!! hahahah
and you know to get the horse going right, you have to kick them using your heel? but it was so hard!! i think i was doing it wrongly.. and in the end my calf muscles kept getting stuck in the straps.. and now, i have like alot of HUGE bruises and blueblacks on my legs.. so ugly lor.. cannot wear shorts or skirts for the time being.. and my tailbone and butt is hurting too.. 'cos when the horses trotter or canter.. it's very painful 'cos we'll bounce up and down on the saddle. hahahaha!
but it was really quite an experience lah.. =D we rode through the fields, through the forest, and along the beach!! =D
too bad i didn't really enjoy myself as much as i think i could.. 'cos sally was really really slow and lazy.. =( and the instructors had to keep helping me getting her to walk faster.. and i think they were quite fed up too.. there was one instructor that was so qian bian lor! i don't like her. and i think she's like only 13 years old.. box her lah.. hahahah
i really wouldn't mind trying horseriding again leh.. with a faster horse lah.. and proper gear too.. =D =D and hopefully my knight in shining armour will ride beside me too.. hahahahah! =D

oh ya.. took a picture of this to show you guys.. was at myer (this departmental store).. their toys section.. and they had this lego display of a band.. and it wasn't any ordinary lego display 'cos you see those coloured boxes in front of the display on the floor? you know when you step on them, the corresponding band member will actually play the instrument??? it was REALLY cool. hahahah! there was even a box for the singer to rap.. hahaha! so so cool.. =D so i guess that was the closest i got to dancing the Dance Dance Revolution.. hahaha!

back from great ocean road.. =D what a long long long long day.. hahahaha! i don't even know where to start lah.. =D
so 6 cars set off with 27 people.. 27 people.. like a class excursion lah! hahahaha! my car had chai, thwin and charmaine! =D the best car! hahahah =D
so after much dilly-dally-ing.. we set off around 0930hrs? around there or later lah.. i also can't remember.. hahaha.. and all respect to chai who drove the whole way to great ocean and back.. hahahaha! the other cars all changed drivers at least once.. hahaha

and... we finally reached the twelve apostles!! =D quite different feeling 'cos the weather was totally different.. very hot.. as compared to the first time that i went.. which was nice and cooling.. the atmosphere was kind of different.. but even so.. i can just stand there and stare at the ocean for hours.. it's so amazing.. i still cannot imagine how vast it is.. hahahah!

but as compared to the first time when i went.. we didn't see quite alot of stuff.. like the lighthouse.. and the gorge.. yeah.. and we didn't stay over for the night.. oh! but i went past the house that we stayed in the first time that i was there! =D memories mannn.. =D

oh yeah.. and after the trip we went to have dinner at glen.. wa.. in the end went home around 12 plus.. super tired lah.. hahaha! but quite proud of myself that i managed to stay awake throughout the whole thing.. ok fine.. except for that one time when i fell asleep on the drive back 'cos it was like pitch black.. hahaha! just made my eyes close lor.. hahahha! oh! but i saw alot alot of stars in the clear clear sky!! very very nice =D

happiest easter everybody!! hee hee =D
went for church service today.. the senior pastor came down to chadstone to preach today.. he was good! =D i'm glad i found this church.. thank You Lord! =D but of course i don't think that they are entirely entirely ENTIRELY grace-based yet.. but in due time.. =D
very cute the children's church put up a little little skit for us.. =D and they had hot cross buns toasted with melted butter.. the toasted ones were yumminess to the max! hee =D my housemate, john, also baked some hot cross buns.. haven't tried them yet.. but i'm sure that they are delicious! =D have i told you guys that john and laura can bake and cook very very well? =D so blessed.. 'cos we can always eat the nice apple crumble, quiche, bun etc etc that they bake.. hee hee =D
oh and then very nice leh.. laura "decorated" our hallway for easter.. hee.. =D i was so surprised when i woke up in the morning and found easter eggs shrewn all over the hallway. hahahah
can you see? i think cannot.. but she was very nice.. she put some chocolates at chai and my door..
but chai and i also got for them mashmallow chocolate hot cross buns!! hahahah =D
oh ya.. then today after church we met charmaine, damien, paul and kaiwen for lunchie at this vietnamese place at glen waverley.. then after that they wanted to go play aracade.. and guess what we got hooked on?? hahaha! those machines where you have to use the grabber thingy to grab the stuffed toys.. hahaha! 'cos they had this machine where we don't have in sinagpore.. the toys were from the little mr. and little miss. series... and so we were like addicted lah.. 'cos we kept insisting that we can get the toy out.. hahaha! but in the end cannot!! i think wasted quite alot of money.. hahahah.. and it was really funny.. 'cos the two guys were really enthu about it.. hahahah! and they even went back to go try again.. hahahah..
see the guy at the extreme right? he's like this really buff guy but he talks quite gently and he was so addicated to the game lah.. hahahahha! really funny lah.. hahahaha
oh then yesterday night the whole lot of us had dinner at sofia's.. this italian restaurant.. oh man.. the food was GOOD. hahahah! really.. maybe i'll have my birthday dinner there.. hahhaah! oh and we had icecream.. there was this really weird flavour of bubble gum i think.. which we all didn't like.. so in the end we played 7-up with that.. hahaha! and along the way the guys added pepper and salt and cheese.. and i think it tasted really bad.. but i didn't kena.. thank God.. hahahah!
